Trimble’s Field Systems sector is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead our subscription strategy and enablement initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving subscription strategy & growth, influencing subscription product roadmaps, crafting compelling value propositions, designing pricing frameworks, and facilitating the transition to subscription models within our dealer network. For this role, we are seeking a transformative, change-agent who values team collaboration, is adept at creative thinking, and who possesses the thought leadership and execution skills to effectively lead and implement change.
Role Objectives
Work closely with the Field System Product teams to influence product roadmaps and develop high-value subscription offerings targeted at specific markets and regions
Define perpetual to subscription transition strategies and timelines in conjunction with the Product teams
Build Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Voice of the Dealer (VOD) processes to enable the Product teams to quickly gather insights, feedback, and preferences to continuously refine subscription offerings
Partner with dealers to understand their needs and challenges in transitioning to subscription-based business models
Define and articulate compelling value propositions for subscription offerings, highlighting key benefits and differentiation
Design and implement subscription pricing frameworks that optimize revenue generation while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
Collaborate with product development, marketing, sales, and finance teams to drive the successful implementation and adoption of subscription initiatives
Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, threats, and best practices in subscription models
Develop and deliver training programs, tools, and resources to enable dealers in the transition to subscription, including their business model transition, and to effectively sell and support subscription offerings
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting subscription businesses, and incorporate insights into strategy development
What Skills + Experience You Should Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related field preferred or 10+ years of experience in a product management or product marketing role, with a focus on subscription-based products or services
Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional customer and dealer experiences and driving business growth through innovation
Strong understanding of subscription business models, pricing strategies, and customer lifecycle management
Experience in developing and executing go-to-market plans for subscription offerings
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market research to inform decision-making
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Skillfully deliver and explain information to audiences of diverse sizes and levels of expertise
Demonstrates active listening skills, proficiently relays information with clarity, and consistently solicits feedback
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans and initiatives
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to drive cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities and ambiguity

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
