- Deep knowledge of DNA molecular biology techniques and synthetic biology applications.
- Experience setting pricing, managing discounts, and owning portfolio profitability.
- Strong analytical skills for market, financial, and product performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Own product portfolio strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and P&L for synthetic biology offerings (genes, oligo pools, libraries, IgGs, etc.).
- Translate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends into product and commercialization plans.
- Drive product development priorities and partner closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and e‑commerce.
- Set pricing and discounting strategies, growth targets, and analytics to optimize revenue and margin.
- Improve production quality and cost structure through cross-functional initiatives.
- Lead customer and key account engagement to shape product direction and ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management team and foster a collaborative culture.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, business, or related field required.
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) in a relevant discipline preferred.
