Job Description

Reports To: SVP of the South Platform

Disclaimer: Applicants must reside in one of the states included in our Southern Platform region and should be willing to travel as needed on a case-by-case basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Personal Sales Development:

  • Develop and grow a profitable book of personal insurance business.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, delivering consultative insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of insurance products, carrier guidelines, and market trends.
  • Follows Trucordia sales methodologies and best practices, including proper use of Trucordia tolls and sales management platform.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and support assigned producers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one development sessions.
  • Monitor pipeline activity, ensure CRM utilization, and guide producers on effective sales strategies.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and performance. Strategic & Operational Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Platform VP of Sales to develop and implement regional sales strategies.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on team and individual performance.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new producers as needed. • Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations while working to minimize E&O exposures.

Strategic & Operational Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Platform leader and Platform leadership team to develop and implement platform sales strategies.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on team and individual performance.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new producers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations while working to minimize E&O exposures.

Qualifications

  • State-issued Property and Casualty Producer License.
  • 4-year Degree in Business Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or related area of study.
    • Or relevant experience. 
  • 7+ years in an Insurance sales role with time spent in team leadership. 
  • Proficiency with professional programs such as Microsoft Suite and Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated skills in analytics and internal/external communication.
