- Experience preparing I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601 and K-visa filings
- Ability to represent clients before USCIS and draft legal briefs
- Caseload and time management skills
- Experience supervising or coordinating paralegal teams
- Familiarity with immigration case management systems
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred (not required)
Responsibilities
- Manage caseloads of consular processing and waiver matters (I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, K-visa)
- Prepare clients for consular interviews and represent clients before USCIS
- Draft and review immigration petitions, applications, and legal briefs
- Supervise and coordinate paralegals to meet productivity and client service goals
- Provide legal analysis and strategy recommendations for case advancement
- Maintain client communication and case documentation in case management software
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Active bar admission (California preferred/required)
- Relevant continuing legal education or immigration law training beneficial
