College Board is seeking an experienced Engineer IV to ensure quality and reliability of assessment scoring capabilities. This fully remote or hybrid role offers the opportunity to work with a team on innovative testing strategies and automation processes in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining test plans, developing automated testing frameworks, performing various testing types, analyzing test results, and collaborating with technical and business teams.
Skills: Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in test automation and CI/CD tools, experience with AWS services, and familiarity with Agile methodology and various programming languages.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of professional software quality assurance experience is preferred; experience with advanced testing strategies and automation is highly valued.
Location: This is a fully remote position, with the option for hybrid work for those near College Board offices in Virginia.
Compensation: $137000 - $148000 / Annually

About the Opportunity
As an Engineer IV focused on quality, you are responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of key scoring capabilities of College Board’s assessments through advanced testing strategies, automation frameworks and an advanced knowledge of QA best practices. Leveraging your AWS expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will analyze complex feature requirements, automate testing processes, and drive efficiencies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to improving reliability and efficiency of systems.
