- Hands-on HACCP program execution and documentation

- Ability to lead, train and mentor QA technicians
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain food safety (HACCP) and quality assurance programs and documentation
- Conduct GMP and facility audits and follow up on corrective actions
- Oversee QA department staff: mentor, train, schedule and provide performance feedback
- Monitor and verify CCP controls, in-process sampling, finished goods testing and product release
- Manage allergen control, material segregation, equipment cleaning and product labeling
- Place suspect or nonconforming materials on hold and maintain quarantine procedures
- Support SQF program elements and assist with CAPA initiatives and follow-through
- Prepare and distribute quality reports, certificates of analysis and KPI data
- Assist with product traceability, recovery procedures and regulatory communications
- Maintain document control and ensure compliance with vendor and kosher requirements
Education
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HACCP certification required
- PCQI and SQF certification preferred
