Skills
- Design and administration of SAN/NAS architectures and storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB, Fibre Channel)
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms (e.g., Pure Storage, Dell EMC)
- Expertise in hypervisors such as VMware vSphere/ESXi
- Experience with backup platforms (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity)
- Active Directory domain/forest design, replication, and trust relationships
- Integration with authentication/authorization systems (Kerberos, NTLM, Entra Connect)
- Security and compliance knowledge (CJIS, HIPAA)
- Automation and orchestration tooling for infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Design and present complex enterprise architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions
- Evaluate and select storage, virtualization, and backup platforms and protocols
- Establish standards, best practices, and governance models for platform technologies
- Drive automation and orchestration to improve efficiency and standardization
- Provide advanced systems administration, operations, maintenance, and support for platform infrastructure
- Diagnose and remediate software bugs and security vulnerabilities related to infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with CJIS, HIPAA, and other relevant data protection requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business, or related field (required)
- Candidates without the degree may be considered if they have substantially more relevant work experience
