IT Services Specialist - Asset Management
Skills
- Customer service and administrative experience in IT or related fields
- Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management and tracking
- Experience with warehouse/logistics and inventory control
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products
- Working knowledge of ITSM/ITAM concepts and practices
- Ability to operate basic material handling equipment
- Effective verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass CJIS background check
Responsibilities
- Respond to daily end-user service requests related to hardware and software
- Track orders and maintain status updates in the Asset Management System
- Receive, inspect and stage hardware; maintain warehouse stock levels
- Operate pallet jacks, dollies or other handling equipment to move assets
- Update and maintain hardware records in the Asset Management System
- Perform asset tracking and reconciliation using various tools
- Execute data sanitization for end-of-life assets and prepare for disposal
- Coordinate with e-waste vendors including tracking and reporting
- Drive city vehicle for deliveries and pickups as required
- Assist with team projects, inventory audits and process improvement efforts
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Candidates without the education requirement may be considered with additional relevant work experience
- Ability to pass Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check
