Skills
- Possession of Engineering-In-Training (EIT) registration in Texas or obtain within six months
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering discipline
- Familiarity with CCTV inspection standards and review processes
- Proficiency with GIS applications and Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
- Ability to learn and use asset management software
- Experience or ability to perform contract administration and budget tracking
- Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to perform field and office duties
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for the Storm Drain Rehabilitation Program and manage related inspection workflows
- Review CCTV inspection videos and reports to identify defects and confirm correct asset start/end points
- Oversee and administer the Reactive CCTV Inspection Contract ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance
- Monitor and track contract budgets, expenditures, and forecasting
- Relay inspection findings and recommendations to consultants, Operations, and Capital Delivery teams
- Support process improvements, standardization of review procedures, and long-term rehabilitation planning
- Coordinate with Stormwater Development Services, Operations, and Capital Delivery teams on inspection outcomes
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
- If licensed as EIT in another state, must obtain Texas EIT registration within six months of hire
- Candidates without the stated degree may be considered with substantially relevant work experience
