Responsibilities
- Hire, train and supervise community center staff; prioritize and assign work and resources
- Coordinate and schedule community center programs, events and daily operations
- Participate in development and implementation of goals, policies and priorities
- Identify and recommend improvements to methods, procedures and resource needs
- Monitor and evaluate program quality, responsiveness and service delivery
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues
- Oversee facility and grounds maintenance and monitor equipment condition
- Participate in development and administration of assigned community center budget
- Perform administrative duties including staff scheduling, deposits, monthly reports and purchase requests
- Develop marketing materials to promote programs and activities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Candidates without the required degree may be considered if they have substantially more relevant work experience
