Skills
- Experience leading field programs for complex medical/assistive or neurotechnology devices in home or outpatient settings
- Proven ability to partner with OT/PT/SLP and caregivers to drive independent device use
- Experience building and operating product-use databases with data engineering teams
- Working familiarity with data fundamentals: schemas, required fields, basic querying/BI, and data quality checks
- Knowledge of ICH/GCP, ISO 14155, and good documentation practices for field activities
- Strong operational leadership, prioritization, hiring, coaching, and scaling teams
Responsibilities
- Build, hire, coach, and scale the Field Clinical Engineering (FCE) team including SOPs, training, quality and performance management
- Partner with OT/PT/SLP and caregivers to embed rehabilitation best practices into onboarding, training, and field playbooks
- Design and manage product-use observation protocols: define data capture, tagging, and delivery to partner teams
- Establish and maintain a product-use database with data engineers and translate findings into clear product requirements
- Track impact of product changes and iterate on field processes to improve reliability and independent use
- Ensure field activities align with regulatory, clinical, and business objectives and adapt responsibilities as company grows
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, neuroscience, rehabilitation sciences, biomedical/clinical sciences, or related field (required)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD, DPT, OT, SLP) preferred
- Clinical credentials (OT/PT/SLP, RN, CRC/CCRP, PMP) are a plus
