Responsibilities
- Perform account analysis, budget monitoring and contract reconciliations for capital projects
- Process construction and engineering invoices and payment applications in a timely manner
- Create journal entries and budget transfers; prepare and review technical financial documents
- Support month-end and fiscal year-end close tasks and grant reporting as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments and project teams to resolve account and billing issues
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with City purchasing policies including requisition and purchase order creation
Education
- Associate’s degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Office Administration, or related field
- Or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
