How you will make history here...
The Senior Manager Category Advantage is responsible for managing the Campbell Snacks syndicated budget. Utilizing the capabilities where we invest, this role owns creating and executing against a learning/development plan that will elevate both the Category Management and Customer Sales Lead expertise. You will be responsible for educating members of the sales organization on macro trends and key industry thought leadership by working with external thought leaders to bring guest speakers and relevant forward-thinking content to Campbell Snacks Sales organization. In addition, this role will be responsible for creating and maintaining a centralized location containing all training materials, including development of a new hire onboarding plan for Category Strategy & Management. This role will require cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Category Management, and Marketing.

What you will do...
•    Manage the Campbell Snacks syndicated budget to ensure strategic allocation of investments among key customers and manage payment, tracking and future spend forecast
•    Be the expert on current and emerging capabilities Campbell’s Snacks should buy to run a best-in-class selling organization
•    Owns educating the relevant cross-functional partners on capabilities managed either through collaboration with vendor partners or by developing and leading trainings
•    Collaborate with Campbell Meal and Beverage division to facilitate best-in-class analytical processes across Category Management, Category Strategy, and Shopper Insights
•    Own 3rd-party data partner relationships
•    Responsible for leading sessions that educate the sales organization on industry thought leadership and relevant macro trend research provided by vendor/agency partners
•    Create and maintain a centralized location for all tools and relevant training materials
•    Manages internal distribution forecasting tool that is an input into AOP and monthly planning processes
•    Development of tools and reporting needed across Category Strategy and Category Management teams
•    Provides monthly business analysis to senior leadership on in market trends, innovation and distribution tracking for monthly planning processes (IBP)

What you bring to the table... (Must have)
•    B.A. required, 12+ years of relevant experience
•    IRI and/or ACNielsen syndicated data experience required
•    Project or budget management experience
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
•    Strong financial acumen
•    Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals within the organization and maintain regular contact with all stakeholders
 
It would be great if you have... (Nice to have)
•    Category Management and/or Shopper Insight background preferred
•    Category Management software understanding
•    Loyalty card experience preferred (e.g. Market 6, 84.51)
•    High degree of self-motivation and discipline
•    Team oriented with the ability to work independently
•    Initiative and ability to work with various individuals and groups inside and outside the company progressing towards a common goal

This role is remote but does require travel (~15-20%) to industry events, visits to Campbell’s WHQ and local offices.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$138,000-$198,400

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
