Opportunity Snapshot:

• Compensation: $90-120.00/hour
• Location: Quintana, TX
• Assignment Duration: 12 months+
• Work Schedule: 9/80, onsite, no hybrid

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the multi-disciplinary engineering efforts for capital projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and OH&S teams

• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development through detailed design, construction, and start-up

• Oversee the development and review of engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications

• Coordinate with external engineering firms, consultants, and vendors to support project objectives and ensure quality and timely deliverables

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes, methodologies, and technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

• Conduct thorough technical reviews and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies

• Develop and implement engineering execution plans, resource allocation strategies, and project schedules

• Facilitate clear and effective communication between engineering disciplines, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolution of technical issues

• Participate in strategic decision-making processes, providing technical insights and recommendations to support project objectives and organizational goals

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering roles, with a focus on capital projects in the oil & gas, refinery, or industrial sectors
• Strong technical expertise in engineering design, analysis, and project execution, with knowledge of industry best practices and standards
• Experience with LNG projects and familiarity with FERC and PHMSA regulations are a positive
• Project Engineering experience with capital projects and / or turnaround work in an operating facility
• Prior EPC experience working in a construction environment, particularly in roles such as Technical Service Manager, Discipline Lead, Foreman, or Supervisor, is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineer)
