Base Salary Range: $79,000 – $110,000/year (based on experience)
~10 years: ~$98,000
~15 years: ~$110,000

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Nurse Manager of Critical Care to oversee both the ICU and PCU, covering 31 total beds with approximately 48 FTEs. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will guide clinical operations, mentor staff, and drive quality improvement.
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with 24/7 leadership accountability as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for ICU and PCU operations.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
Lead interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of patient care and discharge planning.
Promote a culture of patient safety, service excellence, and evidence-based care.
Mentor, coach, and develop staff while fostering engagement and retention.
Manage departmental budgets, equipment, supplies, and staffing resources.
Actively participate in hospital-wide initiatives for quality, safety, and patient experience.
Minimum 3 years of recent (within the last year) ICU leadership experience in an acute care setting.
Active RN license in Florida or Compact state.
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN strongly preferred.
Certifications:
NIH Stroke Scale – within 30 days of hire.
BLS – within 30 days of hire.
ACLS – within 6 months of hire.
PALS or ENPC – within 6 months of hire.
