Sr. EEE Components/PM&P Engineer

Terran Orbital is a fast-growing satellite manufacturer focused on delivering end-to-end aerospace and defense solutions. The company seeks a Sr. EEE Components/PM&P Engineer to lead parts, materials, and processes assurance efforts—ensuring part reliability, managing counterfeit prevention, performing failure analysis, and driving PM&P process improvements across design, manufacturing, and supply chain to meet contract and customer requirements.

Skills

  • BS in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • 5+ years EEE/electrical engineering experience, preferably aerospace
  • EEE parts engineering: reliability, obsolescence, parts library management
  • Application of MIL, NASA, ISO, ECSS, IPC standards
  • Root cause failure analysis and multi-functional failure investigations
  • Counterfeit parts prevention, inspection, and test methods
  • PCBA reliability simulation and analysis (e.g., Sherlock)
  • Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Responsibilities

  • Advise design engineers on parts selection for reliability, availability, and manufacturability
  • Evaluate contract EEE and PM&P requirements and close implementation gaps
  • Perform and lead root cause failure analysis (RCCA) of components, PCBAs, and materials
  • Use reliability analysis tools (e.g., Ansys Sherlock) and failure models to assess PM&P risks
  • Serve as primary customer interface for parts, materials, and process requirements
  • Manage PM&P Control Plan, EEE procedures, and Counterfeit Parts Prevention Program
  • Drive cross-functional mitigation of reliability risks with supply chain and manufacturing
  • Prepare parts/material/process lists, NSPAR/NSMAR approvals, and failure reports
  • Support failure review boards, engineering reviews, and proposal/program inputs
  • Oversee subcontractor PM&P practices and flow-down of EEE/PM&P requirements

Education

  • BS in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • Master's in engineering, physical sciences, or business administration (preferred)
