Responsibilities
- Own hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production, deployment, and operations
- Rapidly iterate designs, perform analysis, and run tests to inform system trades and product direction
- Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and optimize system-level performance
- Establish and improve product lifecycle and production processes, working with supply chain and manufacturing partners
- Perform environmental and performance testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with requirements
- Work with partner teams to develop novel manufacturing procedures and in-house production tooling
- Demonstrate ownership of product outcomes at all development and production stages
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Degree focus in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or related field preferred
