Production Asst./Technician
Skills
- Camera operation for handheld, studio and remote cameras
- Floor directing and live shot coordination
- Teleprompter operation
- Basic studio and remote equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with lighting protocols (DMX preferred)
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and multitask
- Capability to lift and operate cameras 26+ lbs
Responsibilities
- Perform Floor Director and Camera duties during live and taped productions
- Communicate effectively with Directors, Producers and On-air Talent
- Operate teleprompter, jib and SteadiCam as needed
- Assist with set and lighting configuration and maintenance for studio and remote shoots
- Coordinate live in-studio shots during broadcasts
- Perform regular maintenance of studio facilities and remote equipment
- Support cross-functional teams and perform other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or vocational training in production, broadcasting or related field preferred
