Wasserman Music is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our global Music Communications team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about live music, storytelling, and the intersection of media, marketing, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal & External Communications
- Support press outreach efforts by maintaining and updating media contact lists, press trackers, and coverage reports
- Assist in drafting, proofreading, and distributing press releases, media alerts, and announcements
- Monitor media outlets and industry trades for relevant coverage, news, and event opportunities
- Assist with recurring updates such as internal newsletters, internal show lists, major events calendars, and travel planning documents
- Operations
- Ensure data accuracy and alignment across communications and music team planning documents
- Update and maintain artist bios, photos, and other assets across Wasserman Music’s intranet and website
- Support new client onboarding and offboarding processes
- Audit and update external directories (e.g., ROSTR, Pollstar) for accuracy
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a communications/PR role in the music and/or entertainment industries
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
- Familiarity with platforms such as Canva or Photoshop, Keynote, and basic CMS tools (e.g. WordPress) is a plus
Base salary: $64,350 plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
- Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
