Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and compelling weather forecasts on-air and across digital platforms
- Prepare and deliver severe weather updates, including breaking/interrupting coverage as needed
- Produce clear, creative weather graphics and visual storytelling
- Fill in on other shifts and support newsroom coverage when required
- Write and report from the field and within the newsroom
- Update website and engage viewers on social media platforms daily
- Participate in planning and brainstorming for shows and special weather explainers
- Perform special projects and public appearances as assigned
Education
- BA/BS in Meteorology, Geoscience, Atmospheric Science or related field
