Location: Remote (U.S.)
Are you both a strategist and a doer — the kind of leader who can set the vision, and also roll up your sleeves to make things happen? Do you thrive on generating measurable results, and making marketing magic with a budget? Are you eager to join a progressive tech company leading the way in AI software development?
Stride is looking for a Director of Marketing with a player-coach mindset — someone who can run an organized, agile, and creative marketing team while directly driving execution. You’ll be accountable for generating inbound leads, elevating Stride’s brand, supporting our sales and recruiting teams, and shaping the narrative around Stride's growth in the rapidly evolving world of AI and custom software development. Stride is influencing how businesses think about AI adoption, and this person will be part of that voice.
This role is equal parts strategy and execution: you’ll define positioning and mid-term growth strategy, while also creating content plans, driving digital lead generation, managing vendors, building campaigns, and ensuring Stride is attending, sponsoring and hosting the right in-person events.
What You’ll Do
Lead and run Stride’s marketing function with an agile mindset: make work visible, document priorities, and communicate clearly across the org
Drive inbound lead generation through content marketing, digital campaigns, GEO/SEO, and events
Support the sales team with messaging, decks, one pagers, email sequence language, and campaign execution
Manage Stride’s brand presence across channels, ensuring consistent, compelling content and storytelling
Identify and plan for industry events where Stride should have a presence; manage logistics, promotion, and follow-up
Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring external partners deliver on goals and budget
Track performance and pipeline impact, using data to inform priorities and iterate quickly
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales, product, and delivery are aligned on market positioning and campaigns
Have the ability to test new AI tools to make the marketing team better and stronger than ever before
Required Qualifications
Proven experience running marketing strategy and execution for a B2B technology or services company
Ability to use various AI tools in a way that increases the efficiency and ROI of Stride’s marketing efforts and results in measurable outcomes.
Strong player-coach mindset — you can deliver results yourself while building and mentoring a team
Demonstrated success in digital lead generation and inbound marketing campaigns
Exceptional organizational skills: documenting processes, prioritizing work, and delivering on time
Ability to balance strategic positioning with hands-on execution
Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization — up, across, and down
Hustle and creativity
Proficiency with core marketing tools: HubSpot, Webflow, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Deep curiosity and commitment to staying ahead of marketing trends — continuously exploring new strategies, channels, and tools to improve efficiency, drive innovation, and maximize impact.
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast pivots — able to work autonomously, make decisions with imperfect information, and adapt quickly to changing priorities without losing momentum.
