They are seeking a motivated, career and customer- oriented Vulnerability Assessor in Doral, FL. Possible other locations for this position: Key West, Newport (FL), and Naval Station Guantánamo Bay (NSGB). Salary Range - $100 – 118K Annually.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Supports conducting comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls employed by an Information System (IS) to determine overall effectiveness.

· Assists in evaluating the extent to which controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing the desired outcome to meet system security requirements.

· Helps assess the severity of weaknesses or deficiencies discovered in an IS and its operational environment. They also recommend corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities.

· Provides support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities, contributing to the security of sensitive systems and data.

Basic Qualifications:

· BA/BS in field necessary to assume Vulnerability Assessor or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree

· 4+ years of experience with 2+ years relevant Vulnerability Assessor experience.

· Experience with Collateral IS security and the implementation of regulations identified in the description of duties.

· DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification.

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience with military/diplomatic operations working within a J-6/G-6/S-6 Directorate or with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or the Department of State (DoS) leading and performing cybersecurity risk assessments for and across multiple commands, agencies, and regionally distributed locations in a Security Operations Center (SOC).

· Familiarity with the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) management; Contingency Plan creation, documentation, implementation, testing, and maintenance; and interconnection security agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Memorandums of Agreement (MOA), and interface connection documents (ICD).

· Familiarity with IT security engineering lifecycle and release management; certification and accreditation (C&A)/security assessment and authorization (SA&A).

· Knowledge of security and privacy controls noted in NIST 800-53. Familiarity with the role of ISSO and ISSM or SCA.

· Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM)
