We are hiring for a Part-Time (0.6 FTE) RN for the SL General Surgery Clinic in Wood River!

St. Luke's Wood River community is nestled in the beautiful, mountain town of Ketchum, Idaho.  Here you will find the world-renowned Sun Valley resort, our neighboring Sawtooth Recreation Area Headquarters, and many other highly sought after outdoor destinations.  Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or simply enjoy small town living, this place has it all.

What You Can Expect:

As a General Surgery Clinic RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Care & Coordination: Rooming patients, reviewing medical histories, and ensuring a seamless clinic experience.
• Surgical Support: Scheduling surgeries and coordinating pre- and post-operative care.
• Diagnostic Coordination: Ordering and managing lab tests to support patient treatment plans.
• Clinic Organization: Updating and maintaining clinic paperwork for efficient workflow.
• Procedure Assistance: Setting up and assisting with in-clinic procedures.
• Administrative Duties: Managing in-basket tasks and ensuring timely responses to patient needs.
• Team Collaboration: Supporting clinic colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment.

Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday, 8:00a - 4:30p

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1 years' experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the Operating Room
• EPIC
