Position Summary:
Spear Bio is looking to hire a talented Associate Director of Product Marketing to build out and execute our Product Marketing and go-to-market strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join right after our initial product launch and play an instrumental role in our transition to a commercial-stage organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop product marketing & GTM strategy, content creation, and timelines
· Create Spear Bio's product storytelling vision and voice
· Manage product marketing campaigns that target prospective customers
· Develop and continuously optimize marketing processes and workflows to support scalable growth
· Monitor trends in company website performance metrics using Google Analytics, and suggest appropriate enhancements
· Manage conference & event strategy, logistics, and exhibit design
· Collaborate with Business Development to ensure seamless lead routing and follow-up procedures
· Analyze marketing ROI and campaign effectiveness across channels, and apply data into strategies to drive lead generation and support revenue growth
· Manage marketing budget
Qualifications:
· 6-8+ years developing product marketing strategy and campaigns within biotech or life sciences start-up or fast-growing company, including media and content generation, social media, conferences & events, data analysis and metrics, website optimization
· Ph.D. or MS in Biology or related field
· Deep understanding of R&D / IVD product market trends and lifecycles; experience with marketing of immunoassay products for neurodegenerative diseases a plus
· Experience with the following tools: HubSpot, WordPress, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Video Editing apps
· Digital Advertising (experience with Google Ads & Google Analytics)
· SEO implementation
