Skills
- Software development in Python, C, or C++
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Troubleshooting software-hardware interactions and lab instrumentation

- Embedded electronics and hardware interfacing
- Data analysis and numerical/signal-processing techniques
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and configuration management
- Knowledge of digital and analog interfaces (e.g., GPIB, USB, VISA, TCP/IP, CAN, SPI, I2C)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular test and automation software (primarily Python; C/C++ as needed) for manufacturing and verification
- Integrate automation with flight hardware, lab instrumentation, and production documentation systems
- Develop and run tests across hardware-in-the-loop and virtualized simulation environments
- Design custom embedded-electronics and hardware solutions to solve manufacturing and engineering challenges
- Create algorithms and tooling to analyze complex test data and determine acceptance criteria
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation infrastructure and drive root-cause analysis with partner teams
- Define project plans, manage milestones, and run design/release reviews to deliver reliable test systems
- Invent tools to enable frequent, reliable software deployment, test execution, and continuous integration
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline, OR
- 2+ years professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
