Responsibilities
- Design, develop, prototype, and test highly reliable satellite electronics across the full product lifecycle
- Capture requirements, perform system trades, select components, and define architectures for avionics and payload subsystems
- Create and review schematics, drive PCB layout oversight, and lead hardware bring-up and debugging
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, thermal, software, test, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated systems
- Evaluate and integrate third-party electrical solutions and drive supplier/component decisions
- Support production, satellite integration, on-orbit data analysis, and continuous design improvements
- Develop tools and processes to analyze lab and on-orbit data to improve reliability and performance
- Participate in on-call rotations or extended hours as required for mission-critical deadlines
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar preferred
