Skills
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one analytics language (Python/R)
- Experience producing visualizations with Grafana and/or Power BI
- Knowledge of process flow modeling and production system analysis
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations, scheduling, and material planning
- Understanding of database structures, ETL concepts, and query optimization
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical tools to evaluate delivery, capacity, and cost trade-offs to inform production and supply chain decisions
- Create and manage production strategies to mitigate risks and improve safety, quality, output, and cost
- Define, develop, and track department-level metrics that quantify operational health and drive change
- Produce data visualizations and complex ad-hoc reports using Grafana, Power BI, SQL, and analytics languages
- Model process flows and production system behavior to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
- Conduct root cause analysis of operational challenges and implement solutions to meet aggressive rate targets
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, operations, and planning teams to synchronize efforts
- Implement system and process improvements between production elements and maintain performance dashboards
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Master’s degree in engineering, operations management, computer science, statistics, or similar (preferred)
