- Industrial network communication (Ethernet, serial, fieldbus)

- Electrical/electromechanical component selection and sizing
- Hands-on system commissioning and troubleshooting
- Experience with industrial sensors and machine interfaces (vision, dispense, torque tools)
Responsibilities
- Participate in equipment conceptual development, balancing specs, process requirements, cost and lead time
- Design industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A and produce electrical, pneumatic and fluid schematics
- Simulate processes (ABB RobotStudio, Kuka Sim, Siemens Process Simulate) to validate automation concepts
- Architect, write, and debug structured, maintainable PLC code for manufacturing applications
- Design and implement HMI screens that provide clear feedback for operation and troubleshooting
- Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, and pneumatic/fluid plumbing
- Select and size electrical and electromechanical components (servo motors, controllers, drives)
- Deploy automated equipment into production and support commissioning
- Maintain project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Mechatronics or related)
- 1+ years professional experience in design and commissioning of automation and controls systems for industrial applications
