Skills
- Hands-on manufacturing experience with PCB assembly and electronic hardware
- Experience programming/operating automated SMT/assembly equipment (SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, X-ray)
- Familiarity with IPC/J-STD standards and electrical test methods (ICT/bed-of-nails)
- Strong computer skills including Windows, ERP/MRP/MES systems and custom software
- Ability to work in fast-paced NPI and production environments and adapt to change quickly
- Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Execute new product introduction builds across all work centers and ensure successful transition to volume production
- Program, load, and operate automated equipment (paste printers, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, X-ray, dispensers)
- Triage non-conforming products, lead root-cause investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Perform process development and validation on new models within aggressive timelines
- Resolve production issues while preserving design integrity, product quality, and delivery schedules
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost
- Define and perform routine maintenance schedules and support production support activities
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience
- OR Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or science preferred
