- Experience with DOE, gage R&R, and process qualification methods
- Familiarity defining production data requirements and SPC
- Tooling design for high-volume manufacturing and automation integration
- Experience with NX and Teamcenter
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and MES systems
- Ability to work extended hours/weekends and travel up to 10%
- US export control eligibility (ITAR) or ability to obtain required authorizations
Responsibilities
- Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes
- Collaborate with mechanical design to ensure design for manufacturability
- Lead prototype builds and manage milestones toward production readiness
- Define facilities layout, material flow, headcount, and production requirements
- Identify, design, and qualify tooling and hardware for production
- Evaluate and drive automation opportunities with ROI analyses
- Work with in-house teams and vendors to develop and deploy production solutions
- Ensure manufacturing meets targets for rate, cost, quality, and reliability
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering or related field (preferred)
