Position Responsibilities:
Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans and investigates technical problems.
Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
2+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and summarizing findings, then subsequently developing conclusions and making recommendations from appropriate data sources
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Experience with aerospace build plan knowledge, experience with entire value stream of detail part to assembly integration value stream.
Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems.
Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
