- Experience in production engineering, manufacturing, or industrial project management
- Familiarity with construction project delivery and on-site construction management
- Ability to develop contracts, budgets, and forecasts for construction/manufacturing projects
- Proficiency with CAD and design review tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Siemens NX, Navisworks or similar)
- Strong ability to coordinate across engineering, operations, and external contractors
- Capacity to work extended hours and be onsite in Bastrop, TX
Responsibilities
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams through engineering, procurement, construction, and activation phases
- Develop, manage, and issue drawings, documentation, and reports for manufacturing line projects
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines
- Prepare and maintain accurate budgets, cost forecasts, and project schedules
- Coordinate and schedule work with internal teams and external contractors/vendors
- Define and implement production processes (manufacturing execution, inventory, configuration, traceability, process control, maintenance)
- Support production/engineering leadership to identify trends and implement improvements for quality, output, safety, and cost
- Spend time on the production floor to assess risks and drive manufacturability improvements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or other engineering discipline (required)
