Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize plastic injection molding processes through parameter tuning, DOE, and trials
- Implement plug-and-play production processes capable of 1M+ units per year
- Design and optimize production layout and material flow from receiving through line operations
- Manage production tooling strategy, inventory, training, and configuration control
- Drive DFM and DFT collaboration with design and test engineering teams
- Identify automation opportunities, define requirements, and evaluate ROI
- Work with in-house resources and vendors to develop and implement production solutions
- Support production lines with technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Identify and implement safety improvements on the production floor
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics (required)
- Advanced degree in an engineering discipline (preferred)
