- Hands-on instructor-led technical training experience in a manufacturing environment
- Training content design and course development (classroom and e-learning)
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and computer-based training delivery
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing planning tools
- Proficiency with authoring/design tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, Captivate, Articulate Storyline)
- Video editing and online module production skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- ITAR eligibility (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) and ability to work onsite
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver instructor-led and online technical training aligned to manufacturing and engineering specifications
- Create and maintain course materials: presentations, student handouts, assessments, and qualification documentation
- Lead qualification-based authority training initiatives and verify training/certification compliance
- Engage production, engineering, quality, and subject matter experts to capture technical process information
- Identify skill gaps proactively and deliver training to measurably reduce manufacturing risk and human error
- Manage and mentor a small team of training professionals
- Monitor training effectiveness and human error trends; implement corrective actions
- Support development of process specifications and evaluate new training technologies
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Bachelor's degree preferred for the 4+ years experience track (acceptable alternative: 8+ years of trainer experience without degree)
