Skills
- Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA development and troubleshooting
- Hands-on electrical wiring, control panel build, and electrical schematic work
- Mechanical/electromechanical and pneumatic/hydraulic systems troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens TIA, and Allen-Bradley RSLogix
- Ability to develop data-driven root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting
- Knowledge of NFPA and UL standards for electrical safety and control panels
Responsibilities
- Integrate vendor/OEM equipment into centralized SCADA for advanced line control
- Maximize uptime and reliability of automation assets on production lines
- Develop data analysis tools to root-cause downtime and propose long-term fixes
- Specify and procure sensors, components, and hardware for controls solutions
- Wire, commission, and validate electromechanical and pneumatic control systems
- Design and commission PLC and HMI software and add to existing systems
- Interpret and utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Support production devices including HMIs, VMs, thin clients, and IoT endpoints
- Document work, maintain safe/clean working environment, and follow quality standards
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency with 2+ years manufacturing experience
- OR Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science
- Associate or Bachelor's preferred in engineering, math, or science disciplines
