Skills
- Engineering fundamentals across mechanical, electrical, and software domains
- Hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Experience with fiber optic networking and datacenter design
- Familiarity with ground station planning and deployment
- Proficiency with 3D modeling (Siemens NX or equivalent)
- Basic coding ability (Python, MATLAB, C++, SQL, or similar)
- Strong project management and vendor/contractor coordination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own business and engineering outcomes for Starshield ground infrastructure
- Design, build, and maintain antennas, gateway sites, and fiber circuits
- Manage vendors, contractors, customers, and cross-functional internal teams
- Create ground-related products and interfaces for the Starshield constellation
- Develop software and automation to support hardware and infrastructure
- Coordinate with logistics, contracting, satellite operations, software, manufacturing, and RF teams
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
