Skills
- 5+ years professional software development (or 7+ without degree) and 3+ years full‑stack experience
- Proficiency in one or more object‑oriented languages (Python, C#.NET, Go, Java, Scala)
- Experience building single page web applications (Angular, React or similar)
- Solid experience with CI/CD, version control, testing, build and deployment tooling
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes and UNIX-like systems
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and message/streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate highly reliable full‑stack applications used across SpaceX
- Create new applications and prototypes to improve operations and validate designs
- Own architecture, design, code, testing, deployment, and monitoring of shipped software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deeply understand user needs and deliver solutions
- Profile and optimize applications for performance and scalability
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related scientific discipline preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and professional software development experience
