Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of labor/employment, consumer, contractual, commercial, and other legal disputes, including third-party discovery
- Conduct internal investigations and advise on investigatory strategy
- Draft and review discovery requests/responses, pleadings, briefs, and related litigation documents
- Direct litigation strategy, negotiate settlements, and manage outside counsel
- Participate in trials, arbitration hearings, and in-court proceedings as needed
- Provide lessons-learned feedback to mitigate legal risks and implement controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams and stakeholders
- Travel up to 10% and work extended hours/weekends when required
Education
- JD from an accredited law school (top-tier preferred)
- Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state
- Judicial clerkship experience (preferred)
