Looking for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of critical applications for online education at SEI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance technology solutions.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for application design, develop modifications to Sophia's application, adopt Agile methods, troubleshoot production issues, and provide level 3 support post-implementation.
Skills: Proficient in Ruby and JavaScript, familiar with front-end frameworks, AWS, GCP, databases (Relational and NoSQL), and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication and strong problem-solving skills required.
Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience in web application development, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and AWS/GCP certifications are a plus.
Location: This job is based in Minneapolis, MN, and requires up to 10% travel.
Compensation: $103900 - $155900 / Annually

As a Sr. Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role responsible for the application design, development, testing and deployment of mission critical applications for SEI.
The Sr. Full Stack Engineer is responsible for the design and development of modifications to our custom developed Sophia application. This person will work closely with business analysts, key users, and the project team to assess business needs and determine/implement technology solutions using an agile methodology.
This person must have skills in converting specifications and procedures of moderate to high complexity into application and software solutions. This person will also have experience developing in all tiers of an application and must possess knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques and patterns and how to apply them in variety application environments.
