SailPoint / IAM System Developer (Remote)

This role provides the opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable access solutions across multiple systems. You will develop, implement, and maintain IAM solutions, including SailPoint IdentityIQ, integrating with cloud and on-premises applications. The position involves designing, coding, testing, and documenting software components, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will participate in daily agile ceremonies, assist with deployment and release processes, and ensure data integrity and security. This role is ideal for a proactive developer with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for identity management technologies.

Accountabilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain IAM software components, with a focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• Translate design specifications into working code while ensuring accuracy, security, and maintainability.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, validate application functionality, and document all development activities.
• Integrate IAM solutions with third-party applications and cloud services using modern protocols like SAML2, OAuth/OIDC, and MFA.
• Participate in agile team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, design reviews, and testing sessions.
• Support deployment, release packaging, and scale-up of IAM applications.
• Assist in the collection, validation, and preparation of data required for IAM processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management development, preferably with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL (Oracle preferred).
• Familiarity with OO concepts, design patterns, Hibernate, and Maven.
• Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and cloud integration.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (SSO, MFA, SAML2, OAuth/OIDC).
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Bamboo, JIRA, or BitBucket is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
