Field Sales Representative

Sonic Internet is a community-minded broadband provider focused on faster, affordable internet and excellent customer service. They are hiring motivated Field Sales Representatives to grow customer acquisition through door-to-door outreach across the East Bay. Ideal candidates are self-driven, customer-focused salespeople with a valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle who thrive working independently and in small teams.

Skills

  • Proven sales or customer service experience with consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors and door-to-door canvassing
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn sales/CRM applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to prospective residential and small business customers in assigned territories
  • Explain Sonic products and services and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Achieve monthly sign-up targets and track performance against team metrics
  • Provide excellent customer service during sales interactions and follow up as needed
  • Network in the community to expand the customer base and generate referrals
  • Use company sales tools and CRM to record prospects, appointments, and conversions

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to complete company-provided sales training
