Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a charismatic and results-driven Patient Services Manager 2 to lead patient experience and project management initiatives within the ECU Health Medical Center. Located in Greenville, the fastest-growing cultural hub of eastern North Carolina, ECU Health Medical Center is the heart of the ECU Health system. We have 974 licensed beds and are proud to offer extensive inpatient and outpatient services to more than 1.4 million people across 29 counties.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the Patient Experience expert, partnering with Operations Leaders to analyze data, identify trends, and drive measurable improvements.
  • Conduct patient and nursing rounds, gather patient/ nursing insights, assess service delivery, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute actionable strategies and project plans based on Press Ganey and internal performance metrics to elevate patient satisfaction and engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ECU Medical Center leaders, acting as the primary point of contact for patient experience performance and strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Food Services, to ensure aligned service delivery and a seamless patient experience.
  • Provide customer service training to frontline team members and management to ensure outstanding patient interactions.
  • Oversee test tray completion, evaluate meal service quality, tray presentation, and ordering/ tray accuracy.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze service performance and implement improvements.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends as needed.
  • High energy, self-discipline, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
