Role Overview

Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Director, Segment Finance to work with an Oil & Gas Client in the Houston, TX area. This role involves ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting operations, developing and implementing effective accounting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company’s strategic goals. What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize day-to-day accounting operations, operation processes, internal controls, including accounts payable, and accounts receivables.
• Develop, implement, and refine accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. 
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. 
• Collaborate with financial planning and analysis teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models. 
• Communicate financial information and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Experience in operational accounting and process improvement is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial management tools.
