Job Description

About the Role

Sibylline is looking for a Crisis Response Technology Coordinator to join us as an embedded role supporting our client’s crisis management operations. The candidate will oversee the management of security systems used by a global 24/7 team to provide geopolitical risk assessments and communications to business leaders and impacted employees.

A successful candidate will quickly understand systems at the center of crisis response. They will support operations in the administration and development of Everbridge 360 and other geo-spatial technology.

The position is on-site at our client’s offices in Austin, TX. The role will work core hours (0900-1700) Monday to Friday, but there may be occasional out of hours and weekend work requirements to support crisis response.

The candidate will be directed by the client’s security leadership day to day but will report to Sibylline’s Embedded Operations team. Full support and guidance will be provided from our head office, including training and professional development.

Duties & Responsibilities

This role involves evolving responsibilities in program and project management to meet the changing needs of Global Threat and Crisis Management projects. The duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

· Triage technological issues;

· Assist with support activities and administrative tasks;

· Provide meeting readouts;

· Draft business requirement documents (BRDs);

· Learn to manage the life-cycle of technology projects;

· Support the team during high pressure crisis response, willingness to be ‘all-hands on deck’;

· Exercise creativity in delivering timely and sustainable technology solutions;

· Actively review existing systems and policies for quality issues and opportunities;

· Benchmark to establish industry best practices and apply for team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or field.

· Existing authorization to work in the United States.

· 1+ year professional experience in the private or public sector, preferably in a technical or security-based role.

· In depth experience with corporate security and project management/ticketing systems (Everbridge/VCC, Ontic, Veoci, Jira or similar systems).

· Experience building partnerships and working with others to meet shared objectives.

· Organized self-starter with time management skills.

· Presentation software skills and visual creative skills (Keynote or similar software experience preferred).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Curiosity for incident response technology (technical/engineering skills NOT required).

· Capable of performing well under stress and within tight deadlines.

· Ability to see around corners, anticipate challenges, and propose solutions.

· Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate security, crisis management, and/or project management.

· Technical experience in mass notification tools (preferably Everbridge).

· Deep interest and/or expertise in the crisis management and business continuity fields.

· Proficiency with Wrike project management software.

· Experience within a global security team (e.g. threat monitoring, travel security, or crisis management).

· Experience in providing concise briefings to management with short turn-around times.
