Skills
- Deep knowledge of EDI architecture, mapping, and trading partner onboarding
- Strong understanding of retailer routing guides and compliance requirements
- Experience with GS1 identification standards (GTIN, GLN, SSCC, UCC-128)
- Hands-on experience with WMS and ERP systems and integrations
- Experience with barcode label design and labeling standards
- Data-driven problem solving and performance metric ownership
- Ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as operational lead for retail EDI merchants during retailer calls, escalations, and business reviews
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Implementation, Fulfillment Operations, and Sales to optimize onboarding and outbound flows
- Maintain, audit, and enforce retailer routing guides, shipping instructions, and GS1 standards
- Manage EDI onboarding projects, mapping specifications, and post-production support to minimize disruptions and chargebacks
- Develop, document, and improve SOPs, training, and metrics for outbound routing and EDI execution
- Translate retailer requirements into EDI mapping specs and product requirements for engineering
- Continuously identify process and tooling improvements to increase accuracy, scalability, and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory policies where applicable
- Travel up to 30% as needed for merchant or partner meetings
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, information systems or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of experience and education considered
