Responsibilities
- Assist product management for new launches, product improvements, optimizations, and line extensions
- Support product lifecycle stages (growth, active, end-of-life) and resolve product, quality, manufacturing, and customer issues
- Create and manage merchandising, training, and digital content for retail and online channels
- Conduct market research to identify consumer needs, market gaps and analyze competitive landscape
- Track product performance and communicate learnings for continuous improvement
- Evaluate optimization and cost-down opportunities for products
- Work with cross-functional teams to communicate strategic vision and ensure proper marketplace positioning
- Manage creation of product support materials (in-box collateral, FAQs, how-to videos, troubleshooting scripts)
- Manage domestic SKU extensions and support production deadlines
- Support value engineering and cost reduction initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Business, Management, Communications, Marketing or related field
- Relevant coursework or concentration in product development or consumer goods preferred
