What you get to do in this role:

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
• Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, reviewing AI-insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 10+ years of experience  designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications
• Translate user needs and product requirements into intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces.
• Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or Angular/Vue).
• Solid understanding of back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Strong UI/UX design skills with a portfolio demonstrating design and development work.
• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar for prototyping.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jasmine and Selenium.
• Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level.
