Skills
- Proficiency in Python and experience with additional languages such as Rust, C++, or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, containerization, and deployment tooling (CircleCI, Docker, NixOS, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining SITL/HITL test frameworks for robotics or embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed system fundamentals.
- Focus on developer experience and building streamlined testing pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and release simulation-based testing infrastructure (SITL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) systems for TRS products.
- Develop Python tools to facilitate development, testing, and release workflows.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern build/deploy tooling (Docker, CircleCI, NixOS, Terraform).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with autonomy, embedded, and UI engineers to integrate automated testing into the SDLC.
- Ensure test infrastructure is robust, scalable, and supports rapid iteration of autonomy and embedded systems.
- Interface with low-level drivers, autonomy stacks, and frontend tools to validate end-to-end system behavior.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
