Skills
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance and ability to maintain it
- Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- 5+ years of professional software development using languages such as C++, Python, Java, Rust, Go, JavaScript
- Experience with large-scale data processing, analysis, and real-time systems
- Ability to quickly understand and work within complex codebases and system architectures
- Interest in building software with real-world, safety-critical impact
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry software
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering to move features from simulation to flight and operations
- Process and analyze large streams of sensor and telemetry data to enable autonomy and real-time decision making
- Develop and validate algorithms (e.g., motion planning, behavior logic) and support integration into safety-critical flight systems
- Debug, optimize, and document codebases; maintain high reliability for deployed systems
- Support testing, deployment, and fleet management for multi-agent and real-world operational environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree preferred for algorithm-heavy or research-oriented roles
