The Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Strategy will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the CEO, driving alignment across SEMI’s global leadership and spearheading the organization’s long-term strategic vision. This role is pivotal in shaping corporate strategy, enhancing operational effectiveness, and fostering innovation across SEMI’s global programs and partnerships.
- Lead the development and implementation of SEMI’s global corporate strategy in partnership with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors.
- Translate strategic vision into actionable plans, KPIs, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Monitor global trends (e.g., geopolitics, innovation, supply chain resilience) and adjust strategic priorities accordingly.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Executive Office, serving as a key liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Coordinate agendas and follow-ups for the Board, Global Leadership Team, and Strategic Advisory Councils.
- Oversee cross-functional initiatives to ensure timely execution of strategic goals.
- Drive alignment across SEMI’s global regions (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific) and strategic initiatives (e.g., ESG, DEI, Talent, Technology Communities).
- Lead annual planning cycles and strategic reviews, ensuring accountability through structured reporting and evaluation.
- Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and promote a culture of innovation, transparency, and impact.
- Represent SEMI at key member, government, and ecosystem stakeholder meetings.
- Support the CEO in preparing for global speaking engagements, member forums, and strategic dialogues.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Advocacy, and Market Intelligence teams to align messaging and strategic narratives.
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, policy, or executive operations—preferably in technology, semiconductors, or advanced manufacturing.
- Proven track record in leading strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with C-level stakeholders and Boards.
- Global mindset and experience working across international regions.
- Travel up to 50%
- Experience in an industry association, nonprofit, or multilateral ecosystem.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPA, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with semiconductor value chains, public-private partnerships, and innovation ecosystems.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
